Character Portrait
History
Tymal's journey began in the warmth of a loving gnome family, where, unlike his peers, he showed little interest in the typical gnome fascinations of gadgets and gizmos. Instead, his passion lay in the world of books, a trait his parents nurtured by apprenticing him to the village scholar. It was here that Tymal's innate magical abilities were unearthed, setting him on a path of discovery and learning.
After absorbing all the knowledge his mentor could offer, Tymal's curiosity led him to the bustling city of Sable, where he joined the prestigious Mages Guild. His talents quickly earned him citizenship in this grand city, and not long after, he found his place in the enigmatic Crow Lodge.
It was in Sable that Tymal's life took a dramatic turn. He met Lilium, a skilled ranger whose spirit matched his own. Together, they embarked on numerous adventures, their journey peppered with both trouble and triumph. Their bond deepened, culminating in marriage and the sacred bloodoath ceremony, further solidifying their partnership.
However, their bliss was short-lived. Lilium left Tymal a note, stating that he wasn't enough for her and that she had chosen to stay in Mortis' realm. Heartbroken and confused, Tymal was left to ponder his own self-worth and the true meaning of their vows.
Determined to move forward, Tymal sought the services at Kleiburn's auction, where he severed the bloodoath to Lilium, freeing himself from the bonds of a love that was no longer reciprocated. Though the pain of betrayal lingered, Tymal knew that this was a necessary step in his journey, a test of his resilience and a chance to rediscover his own strength.
Initially, Tymal pursued the path of a templar, guided by Karahd, with exploration as his cause. But it was a flame that didn't quite ignite his soul. It wasn't until he embraced the creative fire within, that he found his true calling. On Sojourn 22, 513, Tymal joined the Templars Guild, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his life, one where he could fully express and align with his deepest passions and beliefs.

Unique Items
The history of Rhapsody's Edge is a tale of artistry and enchantment. This blade was crafted by a renowned swordsmith who was said to have been inspired by the muses of poetry and song. The metal, known for its resilience and luster, was sourced from the depths of a mystical mine, where it was said to have absorbed the echoes of ancient verses sung by the earth itself.
The sword was a commissioned piece for a noble bard, but fate had other plans. Tymal Wildwander, the Bladed Balladeer, stumbled upon the swordsmith's workshop during his travels. Upon hearing Tymal's verses, the swordsmith knew that the blade was meant for him. The pearl at the pommel was a gift from a sea nymph, a token of her affection and admiration for Tymal's respect for the sea and its creatures. It was enchanted to glow in the presence of genuine courage and to amplify the wielder's inner strength.
Rhapsody's Edge has been Tymal's faithful companion ever since, its blade a testament to the harmony between the warrior's might and the poet's soul. The sword has inspired countless verses and has been a beacon of hope in times of darkness. Its history is not only etched in its steel but also in the songs and stories that Tymal continues to weave with its aid.
