Bookcase

From ThresholdRPG Wiki

As you collect books throughout the realm or by buying them from a publishing house, you may find that you wish to keep them somewhere. What better place than your own bookcase. Limited only by one per room, you can have as many as you like. Safe and secure, visitors may only see which books you have (so if you have a private library, hide it behind your master bedroom), but may not take from or place books into your bookcase.

House Object

Bookcase is a house object which can be purchased for a player house at a cost of either 50000 coins or 90 ThreshCredits.

Persistence

Books stored in a bookcase save over reboot.

Extensibility

A carpenter contract (bookcase +5) can be purchased for 25 ThreshCredits in the ThreshCredit Bazaar, which will expand the bookcase's capacity.

Customizing

In order to customize the bookcase's short the long description, you must decorate the items bookcase-short and bookcase-long in the room where the bookcase rests. For the short, it is important to note that you should put the short description only on one line in the editor.
