Pubs are places where you can buy food and/or drink. Food is very important for healing in Threshold RPG and these locations see quite a lot of traffic. Two of the main pubs in the game are the Green Griffon Tavern (Sable - 4e, n, w) and Jumpin' Jehosephat's Java Junction (Thrace - 3s, 5w, n).
The directions provided are from the Center of town in each respective city.
