Joining a new game can be a bit daunting, particularly if you've come from graphical games and have never played a text-based game before. In this series of pages, we hope to guide you getting started and playing Threshold quickly and explain some concepts that can often seem challenging.

We've also provided a Newbie FAQ for those questions that seem to come up a lot.

Connecting to Threshold

You can connect to Threshold by way of our online, flash-based MUD client (http://play.thresholdrpg.com) or you can download a MUD client to your computer or mobile device. If you choose the latter, you'll need the connection information.

Creating a Character

Once you connect, if you don't have a character yet, you can create one.
