Mistweaver

From ThresholdRPG Wiki

At the core of the worldview of Mistweavers is the principle of prioritizing the present, the physical world, and events unfolding around them. This focus on the immediate and tangible is a cornerstone of the Mistweavers' approach to life and distinguishes them from their opposing faction, the Stargazers.

As a practical and rational faction, the Mistweavers are known for their grounded approach to everyday situations. The Mistweavers believe the world around them holds the answers to life's most pressing questions.

In contrast to the more mystical and metaphysical belief systems found amongst the Stargazers, the Mistweavers' philosophy is grounded in pragmatism and reason. They value empirical evidence and tangible outcomes, shunning any notions of speculative or abstract concepts that cannot be directly experienced or verified. As a result, the Mistweavers have developed a culture that celebrates the beauty of the present moment and the tangible aspects of existence.

While the Mistweavers may be considered the more traditional heritage of the fae, their belief system reflects a profound wisdom that has served their faction well throughout the ages. By prioritizing the present and the physical world, they have managed to forge a strong connection to the planet of Primordiax and its inhabitants. Their philosophy serves as a testament to the power of practicality, rationality, and a deep respect for the natural world.

Mistweavers and Stargazers have conflicting worldviews. Although, this conflict has in the past escalated to wars amongst the people of the fae, presently, the conflict is more muted and abstract. Members of these factions are not prevented from grouping or clanning together, although, it would be a stretch of reason to imagine them committing to a bloodoath or even marriage.

Note: This heritage is only available to the fae race.
