Maelstroms Fortress

Maelstrom's fortress is a floating palace that resides in the clouds, alternating its time between Thrace and Sable. Maelstrom is (was?) a very powerful wizard, though there is very little information about him. He often chooses not to meddle in the lives of common folk and adventurers alike, but on the rare occasion when he does, it is often to spectacular result.
The fortress is the link to several key locations including:
- Alchemist Guild
- Psion Guild
- Test of Alignment
- Tragedy of Othello
- Slay Virulent
- Several unique magic shops and services
Location
In the months of Serenus, Solaria, and Torrid, the fortress floats above the city of Sable. For the rest of the year, it can be found above Thrace.
