Ellamere Park is a lovely, well-kept green space in the Eastvine district of Thrace City, surrounded on all four sides by upper-class housing including Parkside Manors. It was named after Ellamere, a sorceror and the popular mayor of Thrace at the time the neighborhood was built. Its lawns, young trees, and neatly arranged flower beds suggest it is tended by a full-time staff — a pleasant spot to sit and enjoy the day.
The park's central firepit is sometimes lit, sometimes cold. The bonfire, when it burns, is a popular gathering point.
Features
- A marble statue of Empress Misma near the firepit.
- Two ponds — one to the north and one to the south —
the southern of which is popular with anglers.
- A firepit at the heart of the park.
- The Tacklebox, a fishing-supply hut tucked into the north
end of the park, for those who arrive without their gear.
- The Tea Room, a quiet drinks establishment in the southern
half of the park, offering alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments.
