House Object
House poltergeist is a house object which can be purchased for a player house at a cost of either 75000 coins or 135 ThreshCredits.
Do you want a haunted house? Or maybe just add little spooky ambiance? Hire a medium to lure a poltergeist into your home for a fee. Once installed in your home, it will make mischievous mayhem upon you and your guests! Like an actual poltergeist, this house object is not visible, however, its effects can be as chilling as your own imagination.
History
The House poltergeist was a special prize for the winners of the 2012 Homestead house decorating contest. This house object was available exclusively to those winners for one year before it was generally available for everybody to use.
Defaults
Color
The default color for the poltergeist's messages is bold black.
Messages
There is only one default message for the poltergeist: You feel a brief chill in the air as the temperature drops.
Customizing
Color
To specify the color of the actions taken, decorate the item poltergeist-color in the room where you have purchased the poltergeist. The color can be any of those that show up in help color list.
Messages
To specify which actions will be sent to the room, decorate the following item poltergeist-actions in the room you have purchased the poltergeist.

Enter a specific action on a single line for each action you wish to have the poltergeist take. When the messages are sent to the room, the lines are automatically wrapped. Your poltergeist will select an action at random to take. |
