Glance command
From ThresholdRPG Wiki
With this command you take a brief glance at your immediate environment. This will give you the short description of the room, along with the exits and doors, and any living or nonliving contents that are conspicuous.
You can also glance at a living target (this means another player, a non-player character, monster, etc). By glancing at someone, you will only see their short description and whatever visible equipment they are carrying.
This command has been globally aliased to gl, so you need only type those two letters to execute this command.
