   A very old noble family, the fate of the Dubrecht's has long been a mystery to scholars. Since they have no records about the lineage to study, the only mention of them are a few vague references in an occasional tome on Sablean nobility.

   Many myths and stories have appeared over the decades, pondering what might have happened to this once great family. Their family estate, located far north of Sable City in some thick, oppressive swamplands was once palatial, but is now run down and rumored to be haunted by evil spirits and terrible beasts. Though most people agree that the secret of their downfall probably lies within that home, its ominous and foul aspect keeps most people away.
