When you submit fish to the STEA (through Thrace City, Sable City or the Victory Park Community Center), you earn points towards fishing badges. The more fish you submit, the more badges you can collect.
With these fishing badges you may purchase gear or items that provide bonuses while fishing! You may collect your badges and purchase these items at the Victory Park Community Center. The exchange between fish and fishing badges is 5:1. Fish submitted to ANY location which contributes to the STEA contributes to your fishing badges.
When you collect your fishing badges, they are placed in your special inventory. They may not be traded, or given away.
