Sable City stands on the western edge of the Sablean Continent and is the oldest and largest standing city in Threshold. It once housed the majority of the great temples and all of the guilds of Sable, and Maelstrom's Fortress also once hovered solely over this city.
Sable City was founded by King Glamis who pushed back an infestation of orcs and built a walled city to house the humanoid races. Though most of the inhabitants of Sable are regular people with normal lives and professions, a very few individuals stand out and pick up the mantle of adventuring. These individuals are blessed with an unnaturally long life as well as divine favor.
