If you have GMCP enabled (which is on by default), you can customise your client to show all sorts of information. Threshold has two UIs: a main one with lots of detailed information and a second one that is more minimal.

You may install and update existing UIs by typing one of the following:

  • gmcp install gui - installs the main UI
  • gmcp install guimin - installs the more minimal version that is just bars

After installing a new UI, you may have to type gmcp reset to update the information for the UI.

Minimal UI

Since it is not obvious what all the bars are on the minimal UI, here they are broken down. Mudlet minimal UI.png

  • A = Your carrying capacity as a percentage of your maximum
  • B = Your health (HP)
  • C = Your spell/skill points (SP)
  • D = Your endurance points (EP)
  • E = Your current foe and its health
  • F = Your tummy, how full you are as a percentage
  • G = Your heal bank, as a percentage of how much you can be healed by magic
  • H = Your shielding if you have such a thing, such as a Globe of Invulnerability for mages
  • I = Your XP progress to your next level, be it guild, player, or heritage.
