A fearsome black dragon has been terrorizing the peasantry in and around the Sable Kingdom. Periodically, she swoops down and gobbles up a few unsuspecting folk, then flies off into the skies.
Recently, a few witnesses reported that she flew in the direction of Maelstrom's Fortress. Perhaps her lair lies somewhere within.
King Borgia has issued a call to all adventurers to slay Virulent to bring peace back to the land. It is also rumored that as Virulent is an incredibly old dragon, her treasure horde is filled with riches and even powerful magic items.
Location
Maelstrom's Fortress, either over Sable or Thrace.
